Description

Indulge in the sweet and creamy delight of these warm, golden, and perfectly crispy donuts stuffed with a rich cream cheese filling and strawberry jam. They’re the perfect treat for any occasion, offering the flavors of cheesecake in every bite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can 8-count refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • Oil for frying
  • Additional powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip or a resealable plastic bag with a corner snipped off.
  • Flatten each biscuit dough round with your hands or a rolling pin to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  • Spoon a dollop of strawberry jam onto the center of each flattened biscuit round.
  • Pipe the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry jam in a circular motion, covering the jam completely.
  • Fold the biscuit dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges firmly to seal.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully place the stuffed donuts into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove the fried donuts from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  • Allow the donuts to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the deliciousness of these Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Donuts!

Notes

  • For an extra burst of flavor, try using a flavored jam such as raspberry or blueberry.
  • You can also bake the donuts instead of frying them for a lighter version, though they won’t have the same crispy texture.
