- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak, bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned and the vegetables are tender.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet.
- Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
- Top the sauce with the cooked steak, bell pepper, and onion mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Roll up the stromboli, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sprinkle some Italian seasoning or garlic powder on the dough before rolling up the stromboli.
- You can substitute the ribeye steak with another cut of beef or even chicken for variation.
