Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, until it is no longer pink in the center.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
- Lay out the tortillas and evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on each one.
- Divide the chicken strips and chopped parsley between the tortillas.
- Roll up the tortillas, tucking in the sides as you go to form a wrap.
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden brown.
- Serve the wraps hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For an extra kick, try adding some red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce inside the wrap before rolling it up.
- If you prefer, you can use whole wheat tortillas or gluten-free tortillas to make it a healthier option.
- Feel free to customize with additional veggies such as sautéed peppers or onions for added flavor.
