Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour, cornstarch, and vanilla extract to the mixture, and continue beating until fully combined. The dough will be soft and creamy.
- Use a piping bag or spoon to form dough into small mounds or shapes on the baking sheet. Optionally, top with sprinkles or colored sugar.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
