  • Author: Mary
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings (depending on slice size) 1x

Description

This heart-shaped skillet cookie is the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day! A warm, gooey, and chewy cookie loaded with white chocolate chips and topped with festive pink sprinkles and M&M’s, it’s an easy, sweet dessert to share with your loved ones.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup + 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (use 1/4 tsp of salt if using salted butter)
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • Pink Jimmies Sprinkles (for decoration)
  • Valentine’s Day M&M’s (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or a similar oven-safe skillet.
  • Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips: Stir the white chocolate chips into the dough until evenly distributed.
  • Press the dough into the skillet: Transfer the cookie dough to the prepared skillet, pressing it into an even layer.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  • Decorate: Once baked, allow the cookie to cool for a few minutes before decorating with pink jimmies sprinkles and, if desired, Valentine’s Day M&M’s.
  • Serve: Slice into wedges and serve warm, with a scoop of ice cream for an extra special treat!

Notes

  • For an extra touch, you can drizzle melted chocolate over the cookie before serving.
  • You can also substitute the white chocolate chips with regular chocolate chips if preferred.
  • If you don’t have a cast-iron skillet, any oven-safe skillet or baking dish can be used.
