- 1/2 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons diced green chilies
- 2 tablespoons diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons diced red onion

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- Butter (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cumin, garlic powder, and chili powder.
- Lay the flour tortilla flat on a surface and spread the chicken mixture on one half of the tortilla.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
- Add the diced green chilies, tomatoes, and red onion on top of the cheese.
- Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt a small amount of butter.
- Place the quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing it into wedges.
