This Swiss Mushroom Burger is a deliciously savory meal featuring juicy beef patties, melted Swiss cheese, and tender sautéed mushrooms, all topped with a flavorful garlic aioli. Served with crispy tater tots on the side, it’s the perfect combination for burger lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tater tots, for serving

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into burger patties.
  • In a skillet, cook the burger patties to your desired level of doneness.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the mushrooms until tender.
  • Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger patty and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the burger buns lightly.
  • In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with minced garlic to make the aioli.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing the patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun, topping with sautéed mushrooms, and spreading garlic aioli on the top bun.
  • Serve with tater tots on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding caramelized onions or lettuce.
  • If you prefer a different cheese, cheddar or provolone would work well in place of Swiss.
