Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix (3.4 oz)
- 2 cups cold milk (or almond/oat milk for a dairy-free version)
- 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping (use coconut whipped cream for a vegan version)
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers or golden Oreos (swap for gluten-free cookies if needed)
- ½ cup strawberry crunch topping (a mixture of crushed freeze-dried strawberries and cookie crumbs)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla instant pudding mix and cold milk. Stir for about 2 minutes until the pudding thickens and sets.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream or whipped topping until well combined, making the pudding light and fluffy.
- In a serving dish, layer half of the sliced bananas on the bottom, followed by half of the sliced strawberries.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the fruit layer, then top with a layer of crushed vanilla wafers or golden Oreos.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining bananas, strawberries, pudding mixture, and cookies.
- Finish with a generous sprinkle of the strawberry crunch topping over the top layer for added texture and flavor.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- For an extra burst of flavor, you can drizzle some strawberry syrup over the top before serving.
- If you prefer a richer dessert, you can use full-fat whipped cream instead of whipped topping.
