Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle.
  • In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Spoon a teaspoon of cream cheese mixture and a teaspoon of strawberry jam into the center of each biscuit.
  • Fold the biscuit in half and pinch the edges to seal.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Fry the stuffed biscuits for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll the fried donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can bake the stuffed biscuits at 375°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • You can use raspberry or blueberry jam if you prefer a different fruit flavor.
