Perfect for gatherings or a special treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan to form the crust.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the thawed whipped topping and spread over the crust.
  • Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts and chocolate chips on top of the cherry pie filling.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving to allow it to set.

Notes

  • If you prefer a different fruit topping, you can substitute the cherry pie filling with blueberry, strawberry, or even mixed berries.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps.
  • Chilling the dessert for a few hours ensures it holds its shape when sliced.
