This Salted Caramel Pear Crisp combines sweet, tender pears with a buttery, golden crisp topping, all drizzled with indulgent salted caramel sauce. The warm, comforting flavors make this dessert perfect for fall or any time you crave a sweet, fruity treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Ripe pears, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 6 pears)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • For the crisp topping:
    • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, toss the sliced pears with lemon juice and granulated sugar.
  • Spread the pears evenly in a baking dish (9×9-inch recommended).
  • Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the pears.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the crisp topping. Add the cold butter and use a pastry cutter or fork to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the pears and caramel.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the pears are tender.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat!
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
  • You can make the salted caramel sauce from scratch by melting sugar, butter, and cream together, then adding a pinch of sea salt.
