Description

This Rustic No Knead Rosemary Garlic Bread is a simple yet flavorful loaf infused with fresh rosemary and garlic. With minimal effort and a long resting time, you’ll have a beautifully golden, crusty bread that’s perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
  • Stir in the warm water until a sticky dough forms.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a covered Dutch oven in the oven while it preheats.
  • Fold in the rosemary and garlic into the dough.
  • Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven and place the dough inside.
  • Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the dough rests for a full 12-18 hours to develop the flavor.
  • For a crispier crust, you can bake the bread without covering the Dutch oven for the last 15 minutes.
