Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.

  • In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
  • Divide the batter in half. Mix the cocoa powder into one half of the batter until well combined.
  • Spoon alternating dollops of vanilla and chocolate batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  • Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together, creating a marbled effect.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
