  • Author: Mary
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This delicious and easy-to-make Italian Stromboli is packed with savory deli ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, and melted provolone cheese, all wrapped in a crispy pizza crust. A perfect handheld meal for lunch, dinner, or a party appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube of Pillsbury pizza crust
  • 8 slices of deli ham
  • 10 slices of Genoa salami
  • 12 slices of sandwich pepperoni
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or mozzarella; shredded cheese can also be used)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the Pizza Crust:

    • Unroll the Pillsbury pizza crust onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press it out into a rectangle or the desired size.
  • Prepare the Filling:

    • Layer the deli ham, Genoa salami, sandwich pepperoni, and provolone cheese over the pizza dough, leaving about a 1-inch border on all sides.
  • Roll the Stromboli:

    • Carefully roll the pizza crust into a log or cylinder, starting from one edge. Pinch the seams and ends to seal the Stromboli.
  • Prepare the Butter Mixture:

    • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley.
  • Brush the Stromboli:

    • Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the rolled Stromboli. Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake:

    • Bake the Stromboli in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  • Serve:

    • Allow the Stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute the meats and cheese with your favorite ingredients, such as ham, salami, pepperoni, or mozzarella.
  • You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
  • For a crispy crust, brush the outside of the pizza dough with olive oil before baking.
