These Hawaiian Roll Breakfast Sliders with Sausage, Egg, and Cheese are the perfect combination of savory and sweet. For the sliders:

12 Hawaiian rolls

16 ounces breakfast sausage

6 large eggs

4 ounces Colby jack cheese, slices

Salt and pepper, to taste
For the glaze:

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the bottom and top halves intact.

In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Break it up into small pieces as it cooks.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper, then scramble them in a separate skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.

Place the bottom half of the rolls on a baking sheet, then layer the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and slices of Colby jack cheese on top.

Place the top half of the rolls on and press them down slightly.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and maple syrup for the glaze, then drizzle over the top of the sliders.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the sliders are golden and the cheese has melted.

Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve hot.

Feel free to substitute the Colby jack cheese with cheddar or any cheese of your choice.

You can make the sliders ahead of time, then cover and refrigerate them before baking.
