  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Grilled Citrus Chicken with Glaze is a bright and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts marinated in a zesty citrus marinade of orange, lemon, and lime juices, then grilled to perfection. The sweet and tangy glaze adds an extra layer of flavor, making it a delicious, refreshing main course.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Remove chicken from the bag and discard marinade. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • In a small saucepan, bring remaining marinade to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Brush glaze onto chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
  • Serve chicken hot with extra glaze on the side.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the chicken for a longer time, up to 4 hours.
  • You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result.
  • Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
