Easy Breakfast Sliders: A Quick and Delicious Morning Meal

  • Author: Mary
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders (serves 6) 1x

Description

These Easy Breakfast Sliders are a delicious and convenient breakfast option, perfect for feeding a crowd. Soft slider buns are filled with savory ham, melted cheese, scrambled eggs, and a buttery finish, making them a great choice for breakfast, brunch, or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet slider buns (butter or potato style)

  • 6 slices ham

  • 6 slices cheese (such as cheddar or American)

  • 12 eggs

  • ½1 cup melted butter (plus 1 tablespoon for cooking eggs)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.

  • Prepare the buns:
Slice the slider buns in half (keeping the top and bottom intact) and place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.

  • Assemble the sliders:
Layer 6 slices of ham evenly over the bottom half of the buns. Then, place 6 slices of cheese on top of the ham.

  • Cook the eggs:
In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Crack the 12 eggs into a bowl and beat them until well combined. Pour the eggs into the skillet and scramble them, cooking until just set and soft. Once cooked, spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the cheese layer.

  • Top the sliders:
Place the top half of the slider buns over the eggs. Brush the melted butter (½ to 1 cup) over the top of the buns to make them golden and flavorful.

  • Bake:
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  • Serve and enjoy:
Remove from the oven, slice the sliders, and serve hot. They can also be kept warm in the oven for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to swap out the ham for turkey or sausage if you prefer.

  • You can add other toppings like sautéed onions or spinach for extra flavor.

  • These sliders can be made ahead of time by assembling them, covering, and refrigerating overnight. Just bake them in the morning!
