Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray. Spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add a layer of frozen ravioli. Top with more sauce and a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat the layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until ravioli is tender and cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter option.
- For a vegetarian version, omit the meat and add extra vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- Make sure to use frozen ravioli, as fresh ravioli may not hold up well in the slow cooker.
