- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine butter and water. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- Pipe or spoon dough onto prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll warm cookies in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, bake the cookies for a few minutes longer, but be careful not to burn them.
- These cookies are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
