- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and brown sugar.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, molasses, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and whipped cream.
Notes
- For extra holiday flair, you can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a dusting of cinnamon on top of the pancakes.
