Description
These Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookies combine the best of both worlds — the creamy, rich texture of cheesecake and the beloved crunch of chocolate chip cookies. Soft, sweet, and packed with semi-sweet chocolate chips, these cookies are perfect for any dessert lover.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Be sure to soften the cream cheese and butter before mixing to ensure a smooth dough.
- If you want a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
- You can store these cookies in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
