Description

This Chimichurri Garlic Bread is a flavorful twist on the classic garlic bread. With a fresh, zesty chimichurri sauce made of parsley, garlic, olive oil, and red wine vinegar, it’s the perfect complement to any meal or as an appetizer on its own.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the parsley, garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice the French bread in half horizontally.
  • Spread the chimichurri mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • If you like a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the chimichurri mixture.
  • This recipe works well with other types of bread, such as Italian or sourdough, for a different flavor.
