Description

Black Forest Doughnuts are a delicious treat combining the rich flavors of cocoa, cherries, and chocolate chips. Baked to perfection, these doughnuts are soft, sweet, and full of the iconic Black Forest flavors. A perfect snack or dessert for any occasion!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a doughnut pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Fold in the chopped cherries and chocolate chips.
  • Spoon the batter into the doughnut pan, filling each well about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a doughnut comes out clean.
  • Allow the doughnuts to cool before removing them from the pan.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgent treat, top the doughnuts with whipped cream and extra cherries.
  • You can substitute maraschino cherries with fresh cherries for a more natural flavor.
