This hearty breakfast pizza combines all your favorite morning flavors: a warm biscuit crust, savory sausage gravy, melty cheddar cheese, and eggs baked to perfection. It’s the ultimate breakfast indulgence that’s perfect for feeding a crowd or enjoying a special weekend breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press the refrigerated biscuits into a greased pizza pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  4. While the crust is baking, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the baked crust.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the gravy.
  10. Make 4 small wells in the cheese and crack an egg into each well.
  11. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 12-15 minutes or until the eggs are set.
  12. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a slightly spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sausage gravy.
  • If you prefer scrambled eggs, you can scramble the eggs before adding them to the pizza.
  • You can add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the gravy for extra flavor.
