- 1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Press the refrigerated biscuits into a greased pizza pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
- Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the gravy.
- Make 4 small wells in the cheese and crack an egg into each well.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 12-15 minutes or until the eggs are set.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
