- 1 cup apple butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the apple butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
