Description

This indulgent 5 Layer Turtle Lasagna features layers of Oreo crust, creamy vanilla pudding filling, caramel, and chocolate, topped with fluffy whipped cream and crunchy pecans.   • Crust:

    • 1 family-sized package of Oreos
    • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling:

    • 2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese, softened
    • 2 (3.4 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding POWDER ONLY
    • 2 ½ cups whole milk
    • ½ cup prepared caramel sauce
  • Topping:

    • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For Assembly:

    • 1 cup prepared caramel sauce
    • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 15 turtle candies (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the crust:
    Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin. Combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter and mix until evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.

  • Make the filling:
    In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whole milk, and mix until the pudding thickens. Stir in the caramel sauce until fully combined.

  • Prepare the topping:
    In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

  • Assemble the lasagna:
    Once the crust has set, layer the pudding mixture over the Oreo crust. Then, add a layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding. Drizzle with half of the prepared caramel sauce and hot fudge sauce. Sprinkle with half of the chopped pecans. Repeat the layers, starting with the remaining pudding mixture, whipped cream, caramel, and hot fudge sauces, and ending with the pecans. If using, top with turtle candies for an extra touch of sweetness.

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to set and meld together.

  • Slice, serve chilled, and enjoy!
